Listed below are size suggestions for breeds. These are only suggestions. I know from my experience at working at a veterinary clinic that not all breeds are created equally. This however will give you an idea of the size you may need if you are not sure. You can always email your pets neck size with the breed type and I can help you decide.

Measure the circumference of the dogs neck and add 2". The collar should fit comfortably on the dogs neck. You should be able to put two fingers between the collar and the dogs neck.

MINI: for neck sizes measuring 7 to 11":Tiny Puppies, Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, Maltese.

EXTRA SMALL: for neck sizes measuring 7 to 11": Same breeds as Mini, this collar will be slightly wider at 5/8" rather than 1/2" wide.

SMALL: for neck sizes measuring 10 to 15": Boston Terrier, Pug, Mini Schnauzer, Poodle, small Cockers.

MEDIUM: for neck sizes measuring 12 to 19": Beagle, Cocker Spaniels, Spaniels, Sheltie.

LARGE: for neck sizes measuring 17 to 29": Labs, Retreiver, Irish Setter, Dalmation, Collie.

EXTRA LARGE: for neck sizes measuring 17 to 29": Great Dane, Mastiff, Wolfhound.
